Montreal - On February 4^th 2010, the McGill Armenian Students’ Association hosted an informative session on volunteering opportunities in Armenia through Birthright Armenia (Depi Hayk). Birthright Armenia and Armenian Volunteer Corps alumni Arthur Dolmajian along with Birthright Armenia alumni Christina Manoukian and Antranik Kababejian gave an informative presentation on volunteering opportunities in Armenia through the Birthright Armenia program.

 Birthright Armenia is an organization founded in Armenia in the year of 2004 and since then has helped many volunteers from across the world experience Armenia like never before. It is a facilitator organization that works with different internship programs from Diaspora and within Armenia itself. The presentation covered the technicalities of the Birthright Armenia program. These include homestay options while volunteering in Armenia as well as eligibility criteria to get the travel fellowship (roundtrip airfare reimbursement). After the presentation, a Q&A session was held where the presenting volunteers had a chance to speak about their unique experiences whilst answering the audience’s questions.
