Genocide Museum Announces 2012 Lemkin Scholarship Print E-mail
YEREVAN - The Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute announced the 2011-2012 Lemkin Scholarship program for foreign students and PhD candidates. The Raphael Lemkin scholarship is intended to enable foreign students who specialize in genocide studies - especially in the Armenian Genocide - to visit Armenia for a month to conduct research at local institutions and libraries.
 
The Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute (AGMI) will provide researchers the possibility to carry out their research at the Museum-Institute, and will provide necessary research materials and consultation.
 
The deadline for applications is December 1, 2011. The recipient will be selected by the Scientific Council of the AGMI on December 15, 2011.
 
The program is slated to being in 2012. Winners may choose to carry out the program at any time in 2012 except January, February and December.
 
The AGMI will cover all travel and accommodation expenses related to the fellowship. Separate funding will be provided to cover per diem and research expanses.

- List of published works (if any)
- Two letters of reference
